Nita Goes to Hospital

Nita is knocked down by a car and breaks her leg. She is taken to hospital where she is very brave. The doctors and nurses look after her and help her to walk on crutches until her leg mends. Find out what happens during Nita's stay in hospital and how the doctors and nurses make her better.

This first experience book is designed to help young readers understand what to expect from unfamiliar and potentially daunting scenarios. The titles in this series explore how we might feel when faced with a new situation and how we can cope with it. Simple narratives and warm illustrations make this an accessible and reassuring way to relieve anxiety and dispel fears.
